Disabled Facilities At Manchester Airport ...

General Help

Do remember, if you are a disabled traveller, that Manchester Airport is a large International Airport and therefore you may need to allow extra time between check-in, the departure lounge and your boarding gate.

First and foremost all passengers are advised to check that the price of their ticket includes special assistance required by the airline.

Likewise, if you'll require any wheelchair assistance from check-in, do advise your airline or travel agent upon making your travel booking.

Should passengers be required to check-in for loading their own wheelchair, they can use the airport's own wheelchairs throughout terminal building.

Fully equipped disabled toilets are available throughout the airport terminal.

Strictly, only guide dogs and hearing dogs are allowed in the terminal buildings.

Whilst an ambulift for entry on and off the aircraft is available for disabled passengers, it is always best to inform the airline of your need to use this as soon as possible to avoid any delays or inconvenient to your journey.
