  Terminal 1 - Departures
  Information desk The main unofficial information desk is located in Arrivals. Courtesy phones link passengers directly to the unofficial information desk, look for the blue phones. There is no unofficial information link from Departures.  
  Left luggage On Arrivals level in corridor to Airtours check-in. Also deals with lost and found property. Open 06:00-22:00, £2 per item up to 12 hours.  
Bureau de change Two Bureaux de Change. Thomas Cook, open 05:30 - 20:00 and ICE open 05:00 - 23:00 Mon-Thu, 05:00 - 24:00 Fri-Sun. Full banking service: Co-op Bank.
Trolleys & Porters Plentiful and free on the lower level Arrivals floor and on the terminal forecourt.
Lost property Lost property in the airport is controlled by airport security.
Children's Play Areas The unstaffed play area is open 24 hours a day. Parents must remain with their children at all times. More >>
Cash dispensers Go to Arrivals. Barclays, Link and NatWest in main concourse accept most cards.
Car hire The car hire desks are in the UK arrivals hall. More >>
Restaurants All food and drink outlets are now located on the mezzanine level with good choice and excellent views of the airport.
Shopping & Duty Free A reasonable selection of outlets is available selling leisure wear, gifts, confectionery and books. More >>
  Public Telephones Public Telephones are located at various points throughout the terminal and Airside areas. Most phones have the facility for users to make calls paying with cash, credit/debit cards and certain phone cards.

  Prayer Room A prayer room is available for all faiths. At the end of the Terminal 1 Concourse follow the corridor on the left.

  Information desk In Arrivals Hall and BA Terminal Arrivals.

Bureau de change One Bureau de Change, ICE open 07:00-19:00, and a Co-op Bank.
Trolleys & Porters Plentiful and free on the lower level Arrivals floor and on the terminal forecourt.
Lost property Lost property in the airport is controlled by airport security.
Buses & Trains Bus service to Manchester city and other destinations leaves from Terminal 1 International Arrivals. Access from mezzanine floor. Access to walkway linking Terminal 1 with the Rail Station and Terminal 2 is from the mezzanine floor. Note - there is no longer a courtesy bus service to the Rail Station or Terminal 2. More >>
Cash dispensers Near steps to mezzanine level. Barclays, Link and NatWest machines cover most cards.

  Entertainment Video games are available in the Departures Lounge after Security Control.  
  Food & Drink After passport control is a small range of food and beverage outlets.  
Bureau de change One Bureaux de Change, Travelex open from first flight to last flight.
Pay Phones Throughout the lounge.
   
 
   
 

Terminal 2

   
 
  Terminal 2 - Departures
  Entertainment Video games are available before Security Control.  
  Left luggage On Arrivals level in corridor to Airtours check-in. Also deals with lost and found property. Open 06:00-22:00, £2 per item up to 12 hours.  
Bureau de change Turn right and go to end of concourse. ICE Bureau de Change open 05:00-23:00 Mon-Thu; 05:00-24:00 Fri-Sun.
Trolleys & Porters Plentiful and free. Not immediately obvious, they are available just inside the terminal entry doors in the 'atrium'. Trolleys can sometimes be found in the Short Term car park but it tends to be pot luck.
Lost property Lost property in the airport is controlled by airport security.
Cash dispensers Link, NatWest and Royal Bank of Scotland near Bureau de Change provide facilities for most cards.
Restaurants Meals, snacks and drinks available. Turn left in concourse for main catering area and bar.
Shopping & Duty Free A reasonable selection of outlets is available selling leisure wear, gifts, confectionery and books. More >>
  Prayer Room A prayer room for all faiths is available to the right of the Body Shop, after entering the Concourse from the Check-In Hall.

  Information desk In main hall, friendly staff. Also blue unofficial information telephones opposite the desk. There is a separate tourist unofficial information desk, but no hotels booking desk. Nearest is in Terminal 1.

Bureau de change Thomas Cook Bureau de Change in central area near Information desk, open 05:30-20:00.
Trolleys & Porters Plentiful and free on the lower level Arrivals floor and on the terminal forecourt.

  Prayer Room An into-faith prayer room accessible at the end of the Car Park link bridge, opposite British Midland Check-In. Go down the stairs on the left to the next level and turn right. Walk along the corridor, the Prayer Room will be on your left.
